Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the dealer, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not have to worry about other, more experienced individuals taking their moolla.

One more Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, newcomers are able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty selections.

It’s also simpler to wager on for an extended time with only a small bit of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands has to be under both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
