Online poker has become world famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players receive five cards each. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you must in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantaneously to the house. After the wager comes the showdown. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including a figure in accordance with the initial wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pays out chips equal to your bet and fixed expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
