Double-hand Poker is a modern game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in a fantastic game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the dealer, unlike the majority of other poker games that players bet against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginner players do not need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game pace, beginners are able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick choices.

It is also simpler to participate in for an extended time with only a small amount of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the croupier receives 7 cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
