Howard Lederer was born into in a family of 5 in which he enjoyed gambling on different card games at a young age. He found himself getting really aggressive in the above-mentioned card games while competing against his dad. After graduating from high school, Howard made a decision to place college on hold for a little while and moved away to New York City to participate in some serious chess. He earned some additional money by being an runner for the poker enthusiasts. He theorized he could better his game by analyzing his life away from poker. He made an effort to acquire more rest and concentrate even more on poker.
