Online poker has become globally famous lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players acquire five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you must in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s value is on same level to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the bet is the showdown. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus an amount equal to the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out money equal to your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
