Web poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other players attain 5 cards each. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure equal to the original bet. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The dealer pony’s up cash even with your ante and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
